Company profile
Overview
FundThrough is an invoice factoring platform based at 260 Spadina Avenue in Toronto, Canada. Its homepage says it has been funding invoices since 2014. It serves businesses in Canada and the United States. US lending runs through a subsidiary, FundThrough USA Inc. The site says this subsidiary makes or arranges loans under a California Finance Lenders Law license.
In January 2022, FundThrough bought the invoice factoring business of Bluevine. According to the International Factoring Association's report on the deal, all of Bluevine's invoice funding staff joined FundThrough. The deal was expected to double FundThrough's US client count. FundThrough was then processing more than $120 million in funding a month.
The company positions itself as a complement to a bank relationship rather than a replacement. It focuses on businesses that sell to large companies or government agencies on long payment terms.
The FundThrough homepage and pricing page listed under Sources are Internet Archive copies saved on June 19, 2026.
Services
- Invoice factoring. FundThrough verifies each invoice and customer, then pays the business early.
- Spot factoring. The homepage says businesses can choose which customers to factor and which invoices to fund, and only pay when they factor. The pricing page says there is no obligation to factor all receivables.
- Integrations. Businesses can connect an accounting system such as QuickBooks or an invoicing portal such as OpenInvoice, or upload invoices directly.
- Account support. The pricing page says clients get a dedicated account manager and collections support.
Support runs Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern, by phone at 1-800-766-0460 or by email. An automated assistant is available outside those hours.

Published terms
| Term | What the company publishes |
|---|---|
| Fee | Typically 1.9% to 2.9% per 30 days for businesses with up to $999,999 in total outstanding invoices; custom pricing above $1 million; depends on the company's and its customers' eligibility |
| Advance rate | Up to 100% of the invoice face value, minus the fee |
| Reserve | None |
| Minimum volume | No required minimum funding after the first invoice funding |
| Contract length/notice | Contact for details |
| Termination fees | Contact for pricing |
| Recourse | Contact for details |
| Funding speed | Within 24 hours of an approved request, after the first funding |
| Other fees | The pricing page says there are no hidden fees; no separate wire or ACH fee schedule is published |
The fee is charged per 30 days. On net 60 terms, a 1.9% rate comes to roughly 3.8% of the invoice, and a 2.9% rate to roughly 5.8%. The fee is deducted from the advance.
The site does not state what applies when a customer pays later than the agreed period. It does not explain what conditions apply to the first funding. The homepage says "customer payments reduce your balance," but it does not say whether agreements are recourse or non-recourse.
The pricing FAQ says factoring rates across the industry typically run 1% to 5% of the invoice value per month. This is a general statement, not FundThrough's price.
How to apply
The pricing FAQ lists the basic requirements:
- Outstanding invoices to at least one creditworthy customer
- Invoices to businesses or government agencies
- Invoices for completed work with an expected due date
FundThrough will not work around a lien on receivables that the business is unwilling to have removed.
The homepage describes four steps:
- Sign up with an email address or by connecting an accounting platform.
- Upload invoices or let the integration import them.
- Receive the advance, less the fee.
- FundThrough waits for the customer to pay on the original terms.
The first funding takes longer because FundThrough verifies the customer and invoices before it advances. After that, the company says money reaches the business's bank account within 24 hours of an approved request. Its comparison table says approval and funding take days.
Customers generally know FundThrough is involved. The homepage says it treats customers with respect and that many large buyers already work with FundThrough.
