The short version
We are a referral partner, not a broker and not a lender. When you request quotes, we connect you with a factoring company that fits your industry, state and volume. That factor contacts you directly and quotes your terms. If you sign, the factor may pay us for the introduction. You never pay us, and the factor's rate to you is the same rate it would quote anyone else.
Who pays us
Three kinds of arrangement exist, and we may have more than one with the same company:
- Referral fees. A factor pays us a fixed amount for each qualified business we introduce, or a share of the revenue it earns from an account we introduced. This is paid by the factor out of its own margin.
- Affiliate links. Some links to factoring companies are tracked. If you follow one and become a customer, the company pays us a commission. Every such link is marked `sponsored`, and the page shows an advertiser disclosure.
- Featured listings. A company may pay for a prominent position on a page. Any featured or paid placement is labeled as such. We do not currently run any.
The business owner never pays. There is no fee to request quotes, no subscription and no premium tier.
What the money never changes
- The facts. We publish no ratings, scores or rankings. Payment never changes the terms, sources or descriptions we publish about a company. Listing order may reflect commercial relationships: paid placements are labeled Featured and referral-partner placements are labeled Sponsored. See our editorial policy.
- Reviews. Partners never edit, approve or preview what we write about them. Corrections go through the same process as anyone else's: a source we can check, then a noted change.
- Who you're matched with. The get-matched wizard and the quote form show only companies that name your industry on their own site, serve your state and accept your volume. Among those, featured companies and referral partners may appear first, and they are labeled Featured or Sponsored.
- Your terms. The factor sets your rate, advance and contract. We are not a party to the agreement and we take nothing from it.
What we don't do
- We do not negotiate with factors on your behalf, and we do not promise any rate.
- We do not take your application, run your credit, fund invoices or hold your money.
- We do not sell your contact details to lists or to companies that didn't match your request. Our privacy policy says exactly who sees what you send us.
- We do not accept gifts, trips or payment in exchange for coverage, and we do not publish sponsored reviews.
Where you'll see a disclosure
Any page with an affiliate link carries an advertiser disclosure above the content. The quote form says that factors pay us for introductions. The footer of every page repeats it. If you ever find a page where a commercial relationship isn't disclosed, tell us through the contact details on our About page and we'll fix it.
Frequently asked questions
Does using Factor Connection make factoring more expensive?
No. The factor pays us from its own margin, and its quote to you is set by your volume, your customers and your contract, not by where you came from. Ask any factor to confirm its rate in writing and compare it with our factoring calculator.
Do you only show companies that pay you?
No. The directory lists companies whether or not they pay us, and the wizard matches on industry, state and volume, not on payment. Listing order may reflect commercial relationships; Featured and Sponsored listings are labeled.
Can I go to the factor directly instead?
Yes. Every profile links to the company's own site and phone number. You'll get the same terms either way.
Who owns Factor Connection?
Kenobi Concepts LLC, a Texas company. The editorial team is described on our About page.
