Company profile

Overview

Bay View Funding is an invoice factoring company at 224 Airport Parkway in San Jose, California. Its website says it has delivered factoring "since 1985."

For years it was the factoring arm of Heritage Bank of Commerce. On April 17, 2026, CVB Financial Corp. completed its acquisition of Heritage Commerce Corp. Heritage Bank of Commerce was merged into CVB's bank, Citizens Business Bank, which is headquartered in Ontario, California, and is FDIC-insured.

CVB's second-quarter 2026 earnings release states that through the deal it acquired CSNK Working Capital Finance Corp., doing business as Bay View Funding. Bay View is now a wholly owned subsidiary of the bank and provides factoring to businesses across the United States. The release says the systems conversion was completed in the second quarter of 2026. In November 2026 the website was still operating under the Bay View brand.

Heritage Commerce's 2025 annual report amendment identifies Glen E. Shu as president of Bay View Funding since October 2019. It says he has more than 30 years in financial services, including earlier factoring roles.

The same CVB release reports an average yield on factored receivables of 18.04% for the quarter, on about $86.1 million of average factored receivables. This is an annualized yield across the whole portfolio for the period after the merger closed.
