Company profile
Overview
OTR Solutions is a freight factoring and fuel card company. It serves both sides of a load. For carriers, it offers recourse and non-recourse factoring, instant funding, load advances, the OTR Fuel Card and a business account called OTR Clutch. For freight brokers, it offers factoring and carrier payment tools.
Its FAQ says it works with owner-operators, new authorities and established fleets.
Services
- Recourse and non-recourse factoring. The FAQ says larger fleets often choose recourse for a lower rate.
- True Non-Recourse Factoring. OTR's FAQ says this cover extends to qualifying non-payment even when the freight broker is still in business, not only to freight broker insolvency or bankruptcy. Its non-recourse page says there are no chargebacks, even after 90 days. The FAQ says freight broker disputes and potential chargebacks are handled according to the client's programme and the circumstances.
- Truly Instant Funding. The FAQ says it checks and approves eligible invoices in seconds. It sends payment to any bank account the client chooses, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, including weekends and holidays. OTR also offers same-day funding on approved invoices, ACH and wire.
- Load advances. Up to 50% of the linehaul before delivery, deducted from the final payment.
- OTR Fuel Card. The FAQ says the card is accepted at more than 8,000 fueling locations, including TA, Petro, AMBEST and RaceTrac. It gives discounts at more than 3,000 in-network locations. OTR says carriers save an average of $0.50 per gallon, or about $600 per truck per month. The card is available without factoring. Prepaid and factoring-backed credit options do not require a personal or business credit check. The physical card usually arrives within three to five business days of approval.
- OTR Clutch. A separate digital account and payment card for trucking businesses. The FAQ says opening an account is free, with no minimum balance. Clients can issue driver cards with spending limits.
- App and portal. The mobile app and client portal handle invoice submission, document uploads and freight broker approval checks at any hour. The app's Fuel Finder compares diesel prices along a route.
- Buyout Taskforce. For carriers switching from another factor, it offers a free assessment of the current contract.
OTR promotes a policy of always answering with a live person rather than voicemail.

The FAQ says rates depend on invoice volume and on the choice of recourse or non-recourse factoring.
Truly Instant Funding follows the same fee structure as OTR's Bolt Instant Funding, with no additional charge for the faster service. OTR does not publish the instant-funding fee itself.
There is no monthly minimum. Once a client factors a freight broker's invoices, further invoices from that freight broker must be factored with OTR until a release is provided.
OTR's FAQ says missing a notice deadline can trigger automatic renewal. It says many contracts require 30, 60 or 90 days' written notice before the renewal date.
Fuel card transactions in the network carry $0 fees. Out-of-network fees may apply.
How to apply
The FAQ says applying for factoring does not require a credit check. OTR asks for proof of insurance, articles of ownership and operating authority, and looks at the business information.
Carriers switching from another factor can use the Buyout Taskforce. OTR's FAQ says to plan for a funding gap of two to three days while a buyout is completed.
